A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. This page lists the cookies this site uses, what they do, and how to control them.
Do we use cookies?
Yes, a few — and only with your permission for anything beyond the basics. This site has no login, no shopping cart and no advertising network. The cookies it can set fall into three groups.
1. Your cookie choice (always on)
When you accept or decline cookies on the banner, we store that choice in your browser (as a "local storage" entry called srosm-consent) so we don't ask again. It contains only the word "granted" or "denied" and nothing about you.
2. Analytics (only if you accept)
Google Analytics 4 helps us see which pages are useful, how people find the site and whether it works on their devices. Cookies: _ga (2 years) and _ga_* (2 years), which hold a random identifier for your browser. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in consent-denied mode: it sends anonymous, cookieless pings only and stores nothing on your device. If you decline, that's how it stays.
3. Embedded video (only if you press play)
Videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). No YouTube cookies are set by simply viewing a page. If you play a video, YouTube may set its own cookies for playback and, if you're signed in to Google, for your Google account. These are governed by Google's cookie policy.
What we don't use
No advertising or retargeting pixels, no social media tracking pixels, no session-recording tools.
Changing your mind
Click Cookie settings (also in the footer of every page) to change your choice. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; most browsers let you block cookies entirely, though some sites may not work properly if you do.
