Accessibility Statement.

Our commitment to a website every patient can use.

Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine wants every patient to be able to use this website — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions or other assistive technology. Many of our patients are over 65 and visit on a phone, so the site is built to be readable, tappable and simple on every screen.

What we've done

The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. In practice that means: text and background colors chosen for contrast; a layout that works at 200% zoom and on small screens; every image with a text description; forms with visible labels; pages that can be navigated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator; headings in a logical order; videos hosted on YouTube with captions available; and no content that flashes.

Where we're still working

Some older documents (for example PDF patient forms) and third-party services we link to — the patient portal, online scheduling, review sites and embedded video players — are built by other companies and may not meet the same standard. If you can't use one of them, call any office and we'll help you another way.

Tell us if something doesn't work

If any part of this site is hard to use, we want to know. Contact us through our contact page or call (281) 364-1122 and tell us the page and the problem. We'll fix what we can and get you the information you needed in the meantime.

Accessibility at our offices

All three offices — The Woodlands, Spring and Woodforest — are wheelchair accessible with accessible parking and restrooms. If you need an interpreter, a large-print form or other accommodation for a visit, tell us when you schedule and we'll arrange it.
